The Need

As the clinic continues to grow, the need for additional resources has increased significantly.

These include financial support to

• 1. Fund cataract surgery which is provided free to all patients who come to the hospital

  2. Purchase new equipment - specifically the need has arisen for a new operating microscope for the doctors

  3. Recurring costs of maintaining and upgrading equipment in the operating room

     1. • Currently all cataract surgery including intraocular lenses and outpatient eye

        • services are provided FREE of cost to the ANY patient who walk through the clinic door.

        • Cataract surgery costs about $35 US dollars (Approximately 1400 INR) per procedure
